To come up with a name for this bake shop that would specialize in kid's cakes and confections, I wanted to evoke something cute and appetizing.

"Bouche Bée" is a French expression, literally meaning “open mouth”, but translates to the English expression: “dropped jaw”.

It’s a playful nod to the appetizing cuteness of cupcakes that would make your jaw drop—and, to the Owner’s family name, which starts with the syllable “Bée”.

The alliteration and the word "bouche" are fun to say so they just right for both children and adults to pronounce.
