This project tackles the philosophical topic of the beginning of Time. I created this symbol that represents the question of who came first, the Chicken, or the Egg?
The Egg also represents the "cosmic egg". Since light travel at a certain speed, we do not see thing that are faraway in the state they are in right now. The Cosmic Egg is the observed radius beyond which we cannot see into the past, the moment when the Big Bang happened, because light simply did not exist.
In the design, I made the rays emanate from the egg, representing the expansion of the Universe, and radiation of light.
And to tackle the question, "where did this egg come from?", I decided on a playful take: the chicken looks back at the egg she just laid, sort of surprised about how it happened.
